(Choose from the Wednesday or Thursday class. Students attend one day a week. )

Cost: $25+ tax/month for one child

             $40+ tax/month for two children

               $50+ tax/month for three children

                Payments accepted through PayPal beginning Sept. 1st

 

1st through 5th graders are welcome to participate!

     The New Mexico Youth Photography Club is a club for North Star students and their families that are interested in all types of photography. We offer a variety of fun activities including instructional classes, themed competitions, constructive critique, photo submissions for the yearbook, photo editing, and family outings. Our goal is to encourage budding photographers to increase their technical knowledge, explore their creative side, and foster a love for the art of photography. 

NMYPC meets once per week after school on either Wednesdays or Thursdays from September through April. I'll be accepting 14 (1st - 5th grade) students for each day. We will meet in room 140 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.

**Please note that the pick-up lane option is only available for the front of the school, even though we meet closer to the pick up on the north side of the school, because I take some students to Children's Choice and we all walk up together. Thanks!

     We are a very family-friendly club and I encourage parents to participate. Parents are welcome anytime and I love parent volunteers! We will have family outings the evenings of Friday September 30th and Friday Nov. 11th.

     Students will have the opportunity to occasionally use and learn on club equipment. However, all participating students will need access to a camera, along with parent permission to use it at school. All photography equipment brought to school will be the sole responsibility of the student. The NMYPC and North Star Elementary will not be held responsible for replacing lost or damaged equipment.
